First, our eye surgeons need to make sure you are a candidate for LASIK. During LASIK eye surgery, one of our eye surgeons will use a laser to reshape your cornea. This will help to focus the light directly on the back of your retina as it enters the eye and allows you to see clearly. LASIK is a short, safe procedure with a fast recovery time.
During recovery, your surgeon will likely have you wear an eye shield for a day or two. You should notice an immediate improvement in your vision a few days after the procedure. You may need to return for follow-up visits for a few months to make sure your eye is healing properly, and we will be with you every step of the way.
