Meet Dr. Hargrove

Dr. Amanda Hargrove is a dedicated optometrist committed to providing comprehensive vision care with a compassionate, patient-first approach. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Missouri–St. Louis in 2019. Shortly after graduation, Dr. Hargrove relocated to the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

Since beginning her career, Dr. Hargrove has gained valuable experience in both private practice and mobile care settings. She spent three years as an associate optometrist in a private practice setting and four years as a mobile optometrist, delivering essential eye care services to residents of nursing homes and assisted-living facilities; bringing high-quality vision care directly to those with limited access.

Dr. Hargrove is passionate about helping patients achieve and maintain their best vision at every stage of life. She takes time to listen to each patient’s unique needs and educates them on their eye health and vision correction options. Her goal is to make every visit comfortable, informative, and tailored to each patient.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Hargrove enjoys an active and fulfilling personal life. She recently married her husband, Ben, and they share their home with three beloved pets: Lt. Dan, an orange cat; Chloe, a lovable lab mix; and Nuggie, a spirited pug. In her free time, Dr. Hargrove and her husband love exploring music and food events like festivals. She also enjoys staying active through pickleball, playing whenever she gets the chance.
