Meet Dr. Kumar

Dr. Wamika Kumar joined Kleiman Evangelista in January of 2022 after completing her residency in Ocular Disease and Refractive Surgery with the Clay-Rhynes Eye Clinic in Durant, Oklahoma and the RGB Cataract and LASIK in Sherman, Texas.

Attending high school in Ada, Oklahoma, Dr. Kumar graduated from the University of Oklahoma, with a Bachelor of Science in Medical Sciences. She was awarded her Doctorate from the NSU Oklahoma College of Optometry in 2020 where she served as president of Women in Optometry.

A member of the Rotary and Sierra Club, Dr. Kumar likes to run, read, play chess, and fly airplanes.
