LASIK Surgery

One of the most important treatments we offer is LASIK surgery. LASIK surgery is effective for treating near-sightedness, far-sightedness, and astigmatism. The surgery itself takes only 15 minutes or so to complete with the high-tech laser system we use. We use this laser to reshape your cornea, which brings your vision back into focus. This procedure is painless for most patients. You should see results within a few days. This is an outpatient procedure, so you can go home immediately afterward and recover in the comfort of your own home. Our doctors can perform an exam and consultation to determine if you may be an optimal candidate for a LASIK procedure.

Cataract Surgery

Cataract surgery is a mainstay of our practice. Cataracts occur when your eye’s lens, which is supposed to be perfectly clear, becomes clouded. It can happen in both eyes or in only one eye. It is more common in people over the age of 65, but it can also occur in younger people. If you have blurry vision, sensitivity to light, or difficulty reading, you may have cataracts. Our doctors can perform an exam to determine if you have cataracts and if you are a candidate for cataract surgery.

Cataract surgery is a procedure that involves removing your eye’s compromised natural lens and replacing it with an artificial lens. This surgery takes place under a local anesthetic. It usually takes only 20 minutes or so. It is an outpatient procedure, so you can recover from home.
